MDP on FFNF (Finance for Non-Finance Professional) at BDMA

  Date: 19/11/2022 Venue: BDMA, Bharuch Dr Chetna Makwana, Faculty of Narmada College of Management   has conducted the MDP on “Finance for Non Finance Professionals” for BDMA (Bharuch District Management Association) on 19 th November, 2022. The programme was organized by BDMA to train the non finance professional from various industries surrounded by Bharuch Viz. Dahej GIDC, Jagadia GIDC, Vilayat GIDC etc. Managers and Senior executives from various industries have participated in the MDP programme. Major participant industries   participated in training programme are Sajjan India Ltd., Colourtex Ltd., Adama India Pvt. Ltd., GFL, etc. There were 21 participants from various departments like Supply Chain, Production, HR, Product Planning etc. The Programme was designed to address the following areas of finance: ·          Need of FFNF and Understanding Corporate Financial Statements: Analysis & Interpretation of   Corporate Financial Statements including Ratio Analysis. ·

Seminar on awareness of tuberculosis Date: 23rd November 2022 Time: 3:30 PM Guest: Dr. Shailesh Nakum The session started at 3:30 PM at the conference hall of NCSC. The guest of the day was welcomed by Rakesh sir through the brief introduction of the guest of the evening.  Dr. Shailesh started his speech by acknowledging the disease of TB which is micro bacterial tuberculosis. The disease mostly affects the lungs of the human body if the disease is not treated timely it will also affect the other organs of the body. Talking about the statistics in 2019, 2640000 people were suffering from TB, and out of them, 445000 were driven to death. The government works at different levels like primary level, taluka level, state level, etc. The Disease is attacked through three means; those are  1) Agent  2) Host  3) Environment.  Some of the reasons why the human body is affected by TB is like low immunity power, Diabetes level not in control, an Overcrowded environment, and Poor Ventilation

Guest Lecture on "Lessons from Ramayana and Mahabharat for Modern Times" by Ms Ami Ganatra"

  Date: 20/10/2022 Venue: Narmada College of Management A guest lecture for youth awareness for greater National Awakening was jointly organised by Bhartiya Vichar Manch -Yuva Aayam and Narmada College of Management, on the 20th of October 2022 at NCM   Ms Ami Ganatra is an Alumnus of IIM, Ahmedabad. She has worked for many organisations and has also be a Consultant to quite a few global organisations in the area of Strategic Management. She has ublished two books, 1. Mahabharat Unravelled and 2. Ramayana Unravelled.   Through these books she brings forth the original context described by Maharshi Ved Vyas and Rishi Valmiki respectively.   She talks about the less known facts and highlights the myths build around common man's understanding of both these events which put forth the real history of our country.   Alongside, she very beautifully presented important lessons to be learnt, some of them being : how much of injustice should be tolerated, how one must learn to fight

GUEST LECTURE BY SHRI SAGAR SHAH, ASSISTANT MANAGER, FILOLEX INDUSTRIES LIMITED

 Date: 19/11/2022 Venue: Narmada College of Management Shri   Sagar Shah - Assistant Manager – Sales and Marketing, Finolex Industries Limited, and NCM Alumnus Batch 2013,   Addressed the   Marketing Specialization Students   on 19/11/2022 on the topic of Effective Sales and Distribution Management. Based on his rich experience in the consumer electrical goods industry with Panasonic India and Finolex, he shared his experience related to various aspects of Sales and Distribution Management like Sales Quota, Sales Budget, Performance Review, Appointing of Distributors and Promotional Activities for Successful. The students found the interaction rich and rewarding for its   insights into the practical aspects of Marketing.

CONSULTANCY ASSIGNMENT FOR NARMADA COLLEGE OF MANAGEMENT

Date:  21/11/2022 Venue: Narmada College of Management Narmada College of Management has bagged a consultancy assignment from  D & V Consulting, Ahmedabad, for their Consumer Research Project on Tea Consumers of South Gujarat. The students of Marketing Specialization will be working on this project which involves extensive qualitative and quantitative data collection from consumers and retailers of tea in South Gujarat. The students will be doing this  consumer research project by collecting the data from Vadodara, Jambusar, Amod, Bharuch, Ankleshwar, Rajpipla, Dediapada, Kim, Kosamba, Surat, Bardoli, Navsari and Valsad. The students were given one day training by executives of the company on 21 st November, 2022 and they will be completing this project by 31 st December 2022.
