Orientation 2022 for MBA - Full Time Semester 1









An Orientation Programme for MBA [Full Time] students of the new batch of 2022-’24 was held between 10th September to 15th September, 2022 at Narmada College of Management.

Welcoming the students, Dr. Trupti Almoula, Director, Narmada College of Management, congratulated the students for taking a bold decision to join the MBA programme and urged them to have a larger perspective of their decision to join the MBA programme by understanding the overall education scenario in light of the New Education Policy launched by the Government in 2019.

Dr. P H Shah, Director (Education), NEST gave welcome speech and motivated the students for their career after MBA. Shri Hemant Gajjar, VP, Torrent Power conducted workshop on the topic of Path to Success. Recorded video of Shri Harish Joshi, BDMA shown to the students about the topic on the  Role of Youth in Nation Building”.

Dr. Sham Sachinwalsa Director, S S Agrawal Institute of Management Studies, Navsari had addressed the students on the topic of “Role of Technology and Analytics in Management”.

Shri Sanket Shah (JCI) addressed to the students about Enhancing Personality Traits in today’s context. Prof. Iram Khan and Prof. Rakhi Thakkar, Assistant Professor, NCM conducted Integration Lab where the Senior and Junior students interacted each other and got to know each other.

On the 2nd day of the program various invitees Mr. Mahesh Vashi, Mr. Manish Bhillore, GNFC, CA Sanjay Yajnik, Mr. Kamal Naik, Shri G C Shah, Sewa Rural shared their experiences on their respective areas like HR, Marketing, Corporate Finance, Strategic Management etc.

On the third day of the program various Alumni Mr. Rahul Mehta, DCM, Mr. Mrugang Mistry, Mr. Abdulla Sujniwala, Mr. Bhavik Modi, Mr. Sanket Upadyay shared their experiences in their respective areas. On the first half of the 4th day the Yoga session conducted by Ms. Bhavini Thakkar and Mrs. Bhillore. In the 2nd half of the day all the faculty members of NCM conducted the exercise on

The Reflection in whicn the students have to elaborate about:

• Take home after previous 3 days session

• Students’ action plan for evolving self for excellence

• Students’ revelation on one’s own motivators and inhibitors (personal/social/otherwise)

On the last day of the program Dr. Subhah Yadav, Associate Professor, NCM talked about Why to Choose MBA. Dr. Chetna Makwana, Associate Professor, NCM talked about Academics at GTU and NCM. Prof. Rashmi Ghamawala, Assistant Professor, NCM talked about Placement at NCM. Prof. Iram Khan talked about start-ups and Entrepreneurship at NCM.

Prof. Rakhi Thakkar elaborated on the importance of Communication. Prof. Rakesh Panchal gave information on the Co-currucular and Extra-currucular activities of NCM. Mr. Kanu Raval gave brief information on IT Infrastructure of NCM. Dr. Shailesh Shah, Librarian gave brief information about Library Infrastructure and collections. Mr. Jayesh Mistry and Mr. Dharmesh Modi Admin department talked about various administrative activities at NCM. The program was concluded by Dr. Subhash

Yadav with the small activity on Happiness of the students by filling the Happiness Index survey.

Group Discussion Report - Flair 2019

Date : 3rd October, 2019 Venue : NCM conference room Group Discussion activity   was organized by Narmada College of Management, Bharuch on 3rd October, 2019 at NCM Conference Room, Bharuch. The major objective of the Group Discussion among the students, to observe their personality and skills, ability to discuss on the given subject and to guide them on how to take part in Group Discussions.
