Women empowerment refers to increasing and
improving the social, economic, political and legal strength of the women to
ensure equal-right to women.
Women empowerment helps women to control and
benefit from resources, assets, income and their own time, as well as the
ability to manage risk and improve their economic status and wellbeing.
Many of the barriers to women's empowerment
and equality lie ingrained in cultural norms.
Many women feel these pressures,
while others have become accustomed to being treated inferior to men.
Empowering women to participate fully
in economic life across all sectors is essential to build stronger economics, achieve
internationally agreed goals for development and sustainability and improve the
quality of life for women, men, families and communities.
We students of Narmada college of
Management attended the function of women empowerment that organized by Jain
social group, Bharuch. This project is launched by honourable Ms. Anusucha J.
Modi. The invited guests Miss Shivani Pandya & team who supports
the women empowerment project.
All the team members gave us
motivational speech that now women can learn their own living with help of parlour,
cooking, sewing cloths, computer class & handcraft. And they also shared
their own experience that how they reach that position.
They have their different groups in different
areas. So that they help the women in
need. They also helped in rural areas.
They started various classes for the
women who want to learned without cost. They also gave loan benefits to
start-up their own business.
The group members are rewarded by the
certificate for helping women and to motivate them.
They also prepared some cultural
activity like dance.
They also distribute small gifts
those women who attended their classes.
By attending this function we are so motivated
that how a women is able to find a way to leave their life happily &
respectively.
