AT CONFERENCE HALL, NARMADA COLLEGE OF COMPUTER APPLICATION

PROF. JATIN MODH, ASSISTANT PROFESSOR, NCCA

First year MBA students of Semester II attended a guest lecture on artificial intelligence at NCCA. Prof. Jatin Modh, Assistant Professor at NCCA was the speaker.

Beginning with an introduction of what is artificial intelligence, he discussed the evolution of five generations of computer languages and informed us that at present artificial intelligence is part of the fifth generation of computer programming languages.

He also discussed concepts like Heuristics, Natural Language Processing, Knowledge representation, automated reasoning, Machine Learning and Expert Systems.

Explaining the important applications of Artificial Intelligence, he informed the audience that in the coming days, AI will become an important part of our lives. It is being used in voice recognition, speech recognition, Image processing, computer vision and robotics.

He ended his lecture with a sample of videos related to artificial intelligence which was liked by all.
