“PARISHTI 2019” A State Level Summer Internship Project competition @ GLS University, Ahmadabad

Students across the world take admissions in the best institutes to have a solid foundation for their career. For academic students, especially studying MBA, jobs are the most important aspect of their education. But before a student gets in a full-fledged professional job, it is important to have hands on experience on how the corporate world works. This is where the summer internships play an integral part, the experience of which bridges the gap between academics and a job.

Summer internship is a few week stint which a student gets where he/she has a hands-on experience to understand a witness what it feels like to be a part of a company. Academics only teach the basics to a student but as an intern you learn about the practicality of how things work in the real world.

On 4th September 2019 “Parishti 2019” – a State Level Summer Internship Project competition was organised by GLS University, Ahmadabad. There were 45 participants from 25 colleges. Jinal Sheth and Arshi Khan, Students of second year MBA, Narmada College of Management had participated in the competition.

The GLS University arranged for the refreshments for all the participants. Then they provided a brief introduction about GLS through a presentation, and also an AV about GLS University its initiatives and achievements. Then all participants were told to go in their respective rooms according to their track number. And then the presentation of participants began. We thoroughly enjoyed as we come to know about reports of other participants. It was indeed a great learning. We look forward to participate in more events like such and explore ourselves.
