Summary:

 

Total 48 students of NCM, MBA-I , Sem 2 have participated in this event. This programme was focused on shaping young minds through lecture from various expert at national level who guide the students through their own life experiences. This programme was organized by AIMA in collaboration with local management association. This is Joint event for BDMA and NCM for student’s development. Some of the high light of the programme are as under

·         An excellent live talk was organized by All India Management Association on 25th August, 2021.

·         This live talk aimed on young generation for explaining on topic shaping young minds .This programme provide platform for young professionals and management students like us to interact with iconic leaders from various leaders.

·         Rekha Sethi the director general of AIMA started the session by giving the introduction of speakers.

·         The first half was taken by Mr.Sunil Kant Munjal who is the chairman of Hero enterprise and he was the past president of AIMA.

·         Mr. Sunil Kant Munjal started session with that it is important and critical teaching of business is done in experiential,realistic and practical manner because for long the curriculum become excessive theoretical. He explained that How our lives actually shape us and how our experience shape us. He focused on practical learning method instead of theoretical learning. He shared some of his life story like he said that when you try something new either you move forward or get experience. Failure makes  better version of you. Be confident and always ready to take opportunities. Always learn from your mistake. He shared his experience when he started learning from the shopfloor. Whenever you do something remember governance is matter.Implement your self with new technology.

·         Second part of talk is taken by Mr.Piyush Pandey, Chief Executive Officer of Worldwide. Despite of executive he is actor and cricketer .He explained that you can shape your own mind not by others. Always learn from your experience and always chase your passion. Enjoy your work and be agile. Be patience while working and do it well by full of energy. If you are not enjoying your work then the outcome is not good. He designed so many advertising by his creativity like five-star, Fevicol , Political advertising like “ab ki bar modi Sarkar”.

·         Third part was taken by Mr.T V Mohandas Pai who is Chairman of Manipal Global Education Services Private ltd. His main focus was on industry revolution. As there are 5 industry revolution each revolution has uniqueness. How the  world is changing today .Today majority of industry working under 4.0 revolution. Industry 5.0 revolution is interface between human and robot which is also known as “cobot”. Different technologies like cloud computing, Artificial intelligence and robotics is major pillar of today’s industry.

·         Students have to learn and upgrade our self with new technology. Try to learn different software as a student related to analytics.

·         Fourth part is taken by Ustad Amjad Ali Khan sarod player who is Padma Shri,Padma Bhushan and Padma Vibhushan .He shared his life experience about how to make career in music. There are some born trait in people, we just have to find those and use. He pointed out that students have to connect with music because music is connected with the world. He also suggested that college or school should take one lecture where books are not allowed. We should also learn things other than traditional study method.

Students Participation in "All India Essay Writing Event 2016"

Our students Ms. Fatema Ibrahim Surti and Ms. Sashista A. Chauhan participated in  "All India Essay Writing Event 2016" organised by Shri Ram Chandra Mission, United Nation Information Center for India and Bhutan, and The Heartfulness Institute.

Student participation in Solvay India Open House

Venue : Solvay Specialities India Pvt Ltd, Panoli Date     :     13 Dec 2017     As per the invitation from Solvay Specialities Pvt Ltd, 8 students and 2 faculties from Narmada college of Management participated in the “Open House” event organised by Solvay, on 13 th of December. Dr Chetna Makwana (associate professor) and Prof Rashmi Ghamawala (assistant professor) along with 8 students (from different specialisation) visited the company. The event started sharp at 10 am, where students and faculties of different colleges of Bharuch district were present, namely, SVMIT, KJ Polytechnic etc, along with the employees and staff of Solvay. All the participants were welcomed by Pratish Koparkar, who warmly welcome with his delightful words and starting off the briefing about various safety measures that need to be taken care of.
