At NHRD Network South Gujarat- Surat Chapter, Leadership Conclave 2022. The Professor Rashmi Ghamawala was our Coordinator and we were total 10 Students from The Narmada College of Management who have attended this Tremendous Leadership Conclave organized by NHRD Network and we also have volunteered the Leadership Conclave as a Team. NCM College Director Dr. Trupti S Almoula has also attended the NHRD Leadership Conclave.

Summary of Leadership conclave

 At 9:00 AM the Inaugural of Leadership Conclave session was done by Shri Vivek Patwardhan by giving the opening remark on today’s Event and introducing the Speakers of the conclave and discussed about the book which was to be published in this event.

 After the opening remark was completed by the Vivek Patvardhan sir the Leadership Conclave started and the First Speaker was Shri Satish Pradhan, the Ex Director of Tata Sons. The Satis Pradhan Sir spoke about the Topic “It is ok to be human” and spoke about the most Traumatic Experience which he faced during 26/11 attack in Maharashtra and how he contacted the Tata group employees during the attack to check whether they were safe or not and how they croch on the road and how the Marine shielded them while crossing the Road.

 The next Speaker was Shri B.M. Patel who spoke on Living by Human Values where he shared that “Leadership is all about Seeing, Feel & Believe” and spoke about the problem faced during covid period by the people and make people aware about the importance of vaccines for covid in tribal areas. And how he met with collector and decided to build the 6 oxygen generators so that people can get immediate oxygen during critical condition.

 After the tea break the next speaker was Ms Nandeeta Vengaskar wagh who spoke on the topic “Get your feelings to work” where she spoke on emotions and engagement and the person should give the family also time and its Team also and shared about how her husband used to get the email and calls related to work and their arguments and example of the women working in bank where she wanted the leave for month but was denied so she was ready to resign from the jobs than later she was given holiday and after coming back she was more dedicated and committed to her work.

 The Next Speaker was Dr Zubin Mulla who spoke on the Topic “Leadership and Humanitarian Values” and discussed about the Science is about leadership and what is the role of human and values in leadership. He tried to convince that “Leadership cannot exist without Humanitarian values”

 After the Lunch Break The Next Speaker was Dr Aurag Mishra who spoke on the Topic “Greatness of Common People” he shared the QR code and asked the audience to join the quiz where the question were given and have to write the words related to the questions and showed the video related to doctors and how he and his friends started the NGO and helping people in calamities and Tragedies and showed pictures in which he was in Assam where communal conflict occurred and he and his team reached their to help peoples.

 The Next Speaker was Shri Bharatbhai Shah who spoke on the Topic “Greatness of the Common People” He shared many stories related Chhaydo the organization which he runs for the peoplewhere he provide free food for poors and dialysis center for poors. So for his organization many contributes and he shared some of the stories which were very heart touching and emotional that how a common people shows their greatness.

 After the completion of the speech of Shri Bharatbhai Shah the Lifetime awards were given to few organizations like sewa rural etc. and then it was continued by the Speaker Ms Swatiben Lalbhai who is the Trustee,Atul Foundation, Director, Aagam Holding Corporation Ltd.

 Last but not the least Speaker was none other than well known personality Prof. TV Rao who shared his story about the education at Loyola College Vijayawada and how his professor supported him to do the one year course of Bachelor of education and how he got inspired to go to North Carolina University and study under Uday Pareekh and how he wrote the letter and many other stories.

 The concluding remark was given by Shri Vivek Patwardhan sir and they also facilitated the sponsors of the events.

Conclusion

At last we the Students of Narmada College of Management, Bharuch would like to conclude this report by expressing our gratitude to the NHRD Network Surat Chapter for inviting us to attend and be the part of the “Great Leadership Conclave” and also to Prof Rashmi Ma’am and Dr. Trupti Ma’am for giving us the opportunity to be the part of such a great Conclave from which we were able to get new ideas and learned many new things which will help us in our future.

Students Participation in "All India Essay Writing Event 2016"

Our students Ms. Fatema Ibrahim Surti and Ms. Sashista A. Chauhan participated in  "All India Essay Writing Event 2016" organised by Shri Ram Chandra Mission, United Nation Information Center for India and Bhutan, and The Heartfulness Institute.

Student participation in Solvay India Open House

Venue : Solvay Specialities India Pvt Ltd, Panoli Date     :     13 Dec 2017     As per the invitation from Solvay Specialities Pvt Ltd, 8 students and 2 faculties from Narmada college of Management participated in the “Open House” event organised by Solvay, on 13 th of December. Dr Chetna Makwana (associate professor) and Prof Rashmi Ghamawala (assistant professor) along with 8 students (from different specialisation) visited the company. The event started sharp at 10 am, where students and faculties of different colleges of Bharuch district were present, namely, SVMIT, KJ Polytechnic etc, along with the employees and staff of Solvay. All the participants were welcomed by Pratish Koparkar, who warmly welcome with his delightful words and starting off the briefing about various safety measures that need to be taken care of. The main guests who were addressing the audience were Mukesh Malhotra, Amlanabha Das who was the HR head of Solvay India,
