The Reva-2022, a Management Event was organized at Narmada College of Management, Bharuch.

REVA – SwaBhava SwaDharma SwaTantra – Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav – 2022 is a one day inter-college   management fest organized with an intention to celebrate the 75th Independence Day anniversary of India. It aims to display the multifaceted personalities and potential of our young and dynamic student community of Gujarat. Reva-2022   showcases their talent and fortitude with a host of events exhibiting their cognitive ability, logical thinking, creativity, research orientation, team work, spontaneity, knowledge, entrepreneurship skills, analytical ability etc.

The uniqueness of “REVA – SwaBhava SwaDharma SwaTantra – Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav – 2022” lies in its dynamism and innovative approach to the celebration of events designed and developed for creating awareness about the 75th Independence Day anniversary of India.

Events:

Various events were conducted viz. Debate Competition, Essay Competition, Elocution Competition, Book Review, Presentation, Poster Making, Sketching, Solo/Group Singing, Poetry Recitation, Dance, Drama and Mime.

REVA 2022 received participation of students from 13 different colleges from the state of Gujarat. The list of colleges is given below:

Inaugural

The inaugural ceremony began with an inspirational prayer. It was followed by playing of the NCM song.  The NCM song has been written by our Director, Dr. Trupti S Almoula and it epitomizes our aspirations and guides us for our future.

Various guest were invited for inaugural ceremony. Invitees are Chief Guest Shri Prashantbhai Shah, Executive Director, GNFC,  Chief Guest  Shri Pankaj Sanadhya General Manager, HR, GNFC, Guest of Honour Shri M I Samshi, General Manager, GNFC, Guest of Honor,  Shri P L Audichya, Additional General Manager, GNFC, and Guest of Honor,  Shri A I Shaikh, Additional General Manager, GNFC.

Panel Discussion

Panel Discussion on “From competition to collaboration: Gift of India to the world”

The discussion began with a brief introduction of the panelists. Dr Trupti Almoula was the moderator of the session. The first speaker of the panel discussion was Shri Girish Shah. Girish Sir a Chemical Engineer joined GNFC as a Trainee Engineer in 1981 and Retired as Executive Director in 2019.

The second panelist was Shri Harish Joshi. Harish Sir has completed his Education in B. Sc (Science - Chemistry) and Post Graduate Diploma in Mass Communication & Journalism.

The third panelist was Shri Sanjay Yagnik Sir. Shri Sanjay Yagnik is retired from Lupin Limited as General Manager, Finance.

Shri Rajesh Dave was the last speaker in the panel discussion. Sir has been a speaker in UNCCD and UN's Biodiversity Convention in Conference of Parties.

Following list gives the summary of winners of various events under the REVA 2022. We congratulate all the participants for their excellent performance through-out the day.

At the end of valedictory session Dr Trupti Almoula congratulated all participants from various colleges for their participation and victory. The session was concluded with a vote of thanks, presented by Dr Subhash Yadav who expressed his gratitude to all who made this event successful. Last but not the least REVA 2022 was a grand success, which was celebrated and witnessed by students from more than 11 colleges from all over Gujarat.

Our students Ms. Fatema Ibrahim Surti and Ms. Sashista A. Chauhan participated in  "All India Essay Writing Event 2016" organised by Shri Ram Chandra Mission, United Nation Information Center for India and Bhutan, and The Heartfulness Institute.

Student participation in Solvay India Open House

Venue : Solvay Specialities India Pvt Ltd, Panoli Date     :     13 Dec 2017     As per the invitation from Solvay Specialities Pvt Ltd, 8 students and 2 faculties from Narmada college of Management participated in the “Open House” event organised by Solvay, on 13 th of December. Dr Chetna Makwana (associate professor) and Prof Rashmi Ghamawala (assistant professor) along with 8 students (from different specialisation) visited the company. The event started sharp at 10 am, where students and faculties of different colleges of Bharuch district were present, namely, SVMIT, KJ Polytechnic etc, along with the employees and staff of Solvay. All the participants were welcomed by Pratish Koparkar, who warmly welcome with his delightful words and starting off the briefing about various safety measures that need to be taken care of.
