GSIRF(Gujarat State Institutional Rating Framework)

In line with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s aspiration and vision of creating world class institutions of great eminence and excellence, the Gujarat State Institutional Rating Framework (GSIRF) is a pioneering attempt towards creating world class institutions in Gujarat by the Knowledge Consortium of Gujarat (KCG) in partnership with the Indian Centre for Academic Rankings & Excellence (ICARE), India’s most trusted institution Ranking & Rating Authority.

Using a highly credible & transparent framework wholly based on objective data, ICARE has been tasked with the responsibility to Audit, Assess & Rate Institutions with a clear focus on outcome of the institutions so as to help academic leaders identify areas of improvements, bridge the gaps and achieve excellence Regionally, Nationally and Globally.

Broad Objective:

  • To objectively Audit, Assess & Rate Higher Education Institutions on locally relevant and globally benchmarked metrics
  • Assess key strengths of institutions across a wide framework including but not limited to Research, Teaching, Graduate Outcome, Inclusivity, etc.
  • Provide every participating institution a detailed performance report to read and review their performance, benchmark with peers and use the report to create a road-map for improvement and to achieve excellence across all spheres.
  • Rate institutions in a manner which takes into account the nature of the dynamic Indian higher education system and comprehensively analyse the performance of the institutions.
  • To rate institutions across different categories including engineering, law and pharmacy with carefully re-calibrated parameters to understand how different types of institutions are performing.
  • To use a data driven approach to analyse the performance of higher education institutions in Gujarat.

Narmada College of Management participated in GSIRF and Ranked 7th in the category of Management Institute of Gujarat.

Our students Ms. Fatema Ibrahim Surti and Ms. Sashista A. Chauhan participated in  "All India Essay Writing Event 2016" organised by Shri Ram Chandra Mission, United Nation Information Center for India and Bhutan, and The Heartfulness Institute.

Student participation in Solvay India Open House

Venue : Solvay Specialities India Pvt Ltd, Panoli Date     :     13 Dec 2017     As per the invitation from Solvay Specialities Pvt Ltd, 8 students and 2 faculties from Narmada college of Management participated in the “Open House” event organised by Solvay, on 13 th of December. Dr Chetna Makwana (associate professor) and Prof Rashmi Ghamawala (assistant professor) along with 8 students (from different specialisation) visited the company. The event started sharp at 10 am, where students and faculties of different colleges of Bharuch district were present, namely, SVMIT, KJ Polytechnic etc, along with the employees and staff of Solvay. All the participants were welcomed by Pratish Koparkar, who warmly welcome with his delightful words and starting off the briefing about various safety measures that need to be taken care of. The main guests who were addressing the audience were Mukesh Malhotra, Amlanabha Das who was the HR head of Solvay India,
