Personality Development Program By Prof. Dr Trupti Almoula

PDP lectures were conducted by every faculty in NCM based on result and lacking point mentioned during mock interview. Training material was created and designed by faculties by themselves for grooming and development of students of 2nd year.
Focus of this development program was to nurtured and develop student in various aspects like self-confidence, communication, dressing sense, focus and concentration. Every mutual aim was to prepare student interview and for present and future corporate world along with development of their personality.

On 2nd March, 2019 the PDP session was conducted by Prof. Dr Trupti Almoula at 12.00 P.M in HR class on the topic of “Problem Solving and Decision Making”. 

All the students were given a case study and on the basis of which students are divided into 4 hypothetical department and 3 students are supposed to act as CEO of company. Department were HR, Production and Operation, Finance and Marketing.

The HOD of HR was Jaiswini, for Finance HOD was Vaishnavi, for Production and Operation HOD was Binita and for Marketing HOD was Raviprakash. Anjali, Vaishvi and Mansi K Patel were CEO of the company.

Firstly, all the department and their respective heads has to mention the problems and issue which they has founded in the case study and CEO’s have to note it down afterwards 10 mins were given to all department for finding the issues on which they can formulate the solution. Then every employee in all departments except HOD’s and CEO’s has to write down their SWOT on the basis of which HOD can take decision who to retain and who to terminate.

Then after that 30 mins break were given to all for working lunch in which all department has to work on solution of issues along with alternatives. And all CEO’s has visit all department in different rooms.

After lunch break all together has to meet and has to debate and negotiate for solutions suggested by them. And thus it was every good exercise for all students for taking decisions, handling problem and negotiate with top management.

Speaker : Prof. Jatin Modh, Assistant Profession, Narmada College of Computer Applications
A guest lecture on Artificial Intelligence was held for first year students in the subject of Business Analytics by Prof. Jatin Modh from the MCA programme at our campus.

He discussed the nature, evolution and basic concepts of Artificial Intelligence and its comparison with natural intelligence. He briefly explained the concept of Turing Test and the role it has played in the development of Artificial Intelligence.

He discussed the Robotics technology and how it has played an important role in the development of Robots based on Artificial Intelligence.

Day : Thursday, 28th February, 2019. Time: 14:30 to 16:30, Conference Hall, NCM Building

The fourth session of PDP discussed the below aspects of Personality Development:
1.       Concentration Skills
2.       Personal Self Discipline
3.       Professional Ethics
4.       Leadership

22 students participated in the discussions on the above topics. The session began with an exercise on Concentration Skills, whereby the concentration power and capacity of each participant was put to test.

Later, the discussion covered the details of Understanding Concentration, Developing Concentration, and Sustaining Concentration in our Daily lives.

The session also covered the topics of Personal Self Discipline and its importance of business executives. Finally the topics of Professional Ethics and leadership were discussed. The session ended the experience sharing by the students.
