Students' participation in A Management Event at BDMA

Our college Narmada college of management (NCM)  participated in BDMA-A management event where  16 students participated at certain events like:-

1.      Presentation skills ( Management lessons from movie- DANGAL)

3.      Skit on "SWACCH BHARAT".

Ø  We start our mission for cashless township from the Rajshree polymer company, on the very first day we take permission from the company regarding cashless transaction and then we conduct session with iti student and faculty of iti, our all team make aware them about why cashless transaction are required instance of paper money and then we install the Bhim application and pytm in all student mobile and we requested them to use maximum this application for money transfer and transaction.

Ø  On the second day we make session withRajshree polymer school student and faculty of school and make aware about the mission of cashless transaction and we tell them why this is required and what are the benefits of digital transaction and then we install Bhim application in all the student mobile who have mobile in the class and we also install Bhim application in schoolfaculty, school administration are very supportive and they also ready to make all the school transaction in digitally by Bhim application and pos machine.

Ø  After the lunch we make door to door visited in Worker Township and executive township of Rajshree polymer and make aware all the member of township about cashless transaction and we tell them about benefits of cashless transaction and we also solved the query and myths regarding digital transaction. In the all the smartphone user of township we installed the Bhim application and paytm.after the township we make one to one session with employee and tell them about the use of digital transaction and benefits of digital transaction and promote them to use more and more cashless transaction in the daily life and also make aware her/his family member to make digital transaction.

Ø  On the third day we make session with remaining employee and worker of rajshree polymer and make them aware about the cashless transaction and show the detail method of how to do cashless transaction and what are the way of cashless transaction and benefits of the cashless transaction and then we install the Bhim and paytm application in the all the smartphone user employee and workers and many of the employee have not Smartphone so we make aware them how can the transaction happen with simple mobile without internet, all the employee and worker show very eagerness to learn how to do cashless transaction.
Ø  After the lunch we made one to one meting with canteen owner and with all the shop owner of township for cashless transaction in canteen and in township, we explain them all the importance and benefits regarding cashless transaction, after the many question and arguments finally they ready to install pos machine in all shop of township and canteen of company.

Ø  On the fourth day we install the pos machine at canteen, grocery shop and departmental store in township and we also explain the all the step of how to do payment by pos machine and also teach them all the other function of pos machine and make all the necessary documentation regarding cashless transaction . After then we declared the Rajshree polymer as cashless township.

As per the mission of our chief minister of Gujaratand GNFC company that all the township of Gujarat are cashless, we made Rajshree polymer township as cashless township it include company canteen, twotownship of Rajshree polymer, school and ITI.

       GNFC has become the first township of India with 100% cashless operations. Having succeeded in GNFC, and under the leadership of MD Shri Rajiv Kumar Gupta, IAS, GNFC has undertaken a mammoth task of converting 25 townships in the state to cashless townships.

The work at Videocon Township started on 2nd March 2017. We covered 23 households and made the residents aware of the applications like paytm, BHIM, etc. We also installed these applications in their Mobile phones.

          We covered almost 200 households in the NTPC township . We also covered the hospital, shopping center, temple, guest house and School.

          There is another township for CISF Police force. We also covered 100 households in that township.

          In both these townships , we went door to door and spread awareness amongst all residents regarding the benefits of cashless transactions and also about the various applications like Paytm, BHIM, etc.

We could complete this task in five days. It was a great experience. 

Students' participation in BIZ-XCELLENE - BARDOLI

Our college NCM participated in the management fest , BIZ-XCELLENE organized by UKA TARSADIA UNIVERSITY at Bardoli on 18th Feb, 2017.42 Students of our college participated in various events like Aamne –Saamne (Debate), Vakchaturya ( Presentation competition ) Bhagam –bhag ( Time management), Nachle, Gayiki etc. The event gave us many things to inculcate within an individual. It was really a very good platform and opportunity to explore the talents. Our college receives 2 recognitions for:

Students’ participation in AIMA Management Olympiad 2017

AIMA Management Olympiad 2017, was organized by the All India Management Association (AIMA) in collaboration with the Baroda Management Association (BMA) as an initiative of its diamond Jubilee Year, at the ITM Universe, that hosted the event on – 28th February and 1st March 2017. The objective of Olympiad was to provide learning opportunities to the students and generate competitive spirit among them..
The competition comprised of 4 management related events comprising of – (a) Poster Making (b) Business Simulation Games (c) Case Study (d) Quiz.
About 900 students from renowned B-Schools like Ms. Kalyani Chavan of Faculty of Social Work, M S University, Baroda, Mr. Nitish Saxena of Navrachana University, Nirma University, etc.. participated in various competitions and 350 teams in 4 competitions respectively. The competition flagged off on 28th February 2017 with an Inaugural session in which Mr. B K Basu, Vice President and Head, Corporate Centre & Technology, L&T Power was the Chief Guest.
On the 2nd day of the competition, there was a Valedictory session at the ITM Universe, The Chief Guest for this session was Padmashri Dr. Subroto Das, founder of Highway Helpline Foundation, Ahmedabad.

Mutual Fund Seminar under Finance Skill Council _ NCM

It is hereby reported that Students of Sem IV of Narmada College of Management attend the Seminar organised by AMC of Bharuch.

The seminar  is on “Riding The Roller Coaster In Financial Market”on 4th March at 6:30 pm In Regenta Hotel. Seminar was organised by Mr. Amit Luhaaruka who is certified Financial planner. Seminar was presented by Mr. Amit Trivedi who is Author, Speaker and Blogger. Students gain knowlegde about various aspects of mutual fund and views and actions of the mutual fund investors according to the risk and return. which will help them for their project work as well as esrch work on Mutual fund.They also guide the students about the history of Mutual fund of various country and growth of mutual fund market in Inida.This seminar proved to be of great learning expereince to students.

Students' Participation in Business Plan Competition

Report of Business Plan Competition-NCM
Organizers : Luthra Institute of Business Management, Surat




On February 25th 2017, Our college has been participated in state level Inter-college Business Plan competition named “Stratastical - The Startup Battle” at S R Luthra College of Management, Sarvajanik Education Society,  Surat. There were several entries from different Management Institute of Gujarat.  After first round, top five teams were selected from them. In these top five teams, three teams from Narmada College of Management was chosen for final battle. Two other teams were from S S Agrawal and S R Luthra itself.

The top five teams were mentored by the mentor allotted based on the sector in which their plan lies. Our College students were mentor by Sanjay Bhamwala (Owner, Atithi Resort), Jigar Desai (Brand Incept, Surat) and Siddharth Shah (Rudraksha Enterprise, Surat).

Each team were given time of 20 minutes and 10 minutes for Question answer round. The judges were Apoorva Vora and Kashyap Pandya. They were specially invited as judge from Mumbai who have experience more than 30 years in their respective fields.

It was very difficult for judges for deciding the winner and runner up for the completion as completion was so tough. But they selected two teams, First Plan i.e Delicious Bunny- have Group member Chaitali Patel, Vrunda Joshi, Mubbasira Patel and Amrin Khilji. The second plan i.e Aumentar Technologies have group member are Bhavin Hirani, Fenil Modi, Nirali Thakkar, Jisha john were selected as Winner and Runner Up respectively.
The Students were awarded with trophies and 1000 Rs to winner team and 750 Rs to the Runner up team. It was a very tough competition, great learning experience with other groups as well as from all mentors allotted to each team and respective judges. ​

Students' visit at Sharekhan Brokerage Firm

Organisation of visit: Sharekhan Brokerage firm, Bharuch

It is hereby reported that students of Sem IV, MBA Finance, Narmada College of Management, Bharuch visited SHAREKHAN for educational purpose on 22nd February, 2017 at 12.00 pm. Officers of Sharekhan have shared information about practical knowlegde about the subject “Risk Management. Students were given demonstrations about the trading of options, futures and derivatives. Information about stock market and the way it functions was also provided. This visit proved to be of great learning expereince to students.

Objective of the visit was to expose the students of MBA to real time trading mechanism and functioning of stock market activities. Officers of Sharekhan have shared with students trading and settlement procedures, order functioning of market, of both the segment cash as well as F & O segment of equity market. This enabled students to learn their subject of Risk Management in a better way.

Student Participation in Programme "women empowerment"

EVENT: Women Empowerment

VENUE: J P Arts & Science College, Bharuch

 Women empowerment refers to increasing and improving the social, economic, political and legal strength of the women to ensure equal-right to women.

 Women empowerment helps women to control and benefit from resources, assets, income and their own time, as well as the ability to manage risk and improve their economic status and wellbeing.
 Many of the barriers to women's empowerment and equality lie ingrained in cultural norms.

Many women feel these pressures, while others have become accustomed to being treated inferior to men.

Empowering women to participate fully in economic life across all sectors is essential to build stronger economics, achieve internationally agreed goals for development and sustainability and improve the quality of life for women, men, families and communities.

We students of Narmada college of Management attended the function of women empowerment that organized by Jain social group, Bharuch. This project is launched by honourable Ms. Anusucha J. Modi.  The invited guests  Miss Shivani Pandya & team who supports the women empowerment project.

All the team members gave us motivational speech that now women can learn their own living with help of parlour, cooking, sewing cloths, computer class & handcraft. And they also shared their own experience that how they reach that position.

 They have their different groups in different areas.  So that they help the women in need. They also helped in rural areas.

They started various classes for the women who want to learned without cost. They also gave loan benefits to start-up their own business.

 The group members are rewarded by the certificate for helping women and to motivate them.
They also prepared some cultural activity like dance.

They also distribute small gifts those women who attended their classes.

 By attending this function we are so motivated that how a women is able to find a way to leave their life happily & respectively.
