EDUCATIONAL VISIT TO SHAREKHAN

Organisation of visit: Sharekhan Brokerage firm, Bharuch

It is hereby reported that students of Sem IV, MBA Finance, Narmada College of Management, Bharuch visited SHAREKHAN for educational purpose on 22nd February, 2017 at 12.00 pm. Officers of Sharekhan have shared information about practical knowlegde about the subject “Risk Management”. Students were given demonstrations about the trading of options, futures and derivatives. Information about stock market and the way it functions was also provided. This visit proved to be of great learning expereince to students.

Objective of the visit was to expose the students of MBA to real time trading mechanism and functioning of stock market activities. Officers of Sharekhan have shared with students trading and settlement procedures, order functioning of market, of both the segment cash as well as F & O segment of equity market. This enabled students to learn their subject of Risk Management in a better way.

A REPORT on Two day visit of MBA-I students at Adani Port, Mundra Date of Visit: 29 th -30 th September, 2019 68 students of MBA-I, along with 4 faculty members visited Adani Port at Mundra on 29 th and 30 th September, 2019, as part of Industrial visit organized by the College. Student participation in Solvay India Open House

Venue : Solvay Specialities India Pvt Ltd, Panoli Date : 13 Dec 2017 As per the invitation from Solvay Specialities Pvt Ltd, 8 students and 2 faculties from Narmada college of Management participated in the “Open House” event organised by Solvay, on 13 th of December. Dr Chetna Makwana (associate professor) and Prof Rashmi Ghamawala (assistant professor) along with 8 students (from different specialisation) visited the company. The event started sharp at 10 am, where students and faculties of different colleges of Bharuch district were present, namely, SVMIT, KJ Polytechnic etc, along with the employees and staff of Solvay. All the participants were welcomed by Pratish Koparkar, who warmly welcome with his delightful words and starting off the briefing about various safety measures that need to be taken care of.
