Report of Seminar attended by NCM Faculties and Students at NHRD Network Convention

venue : Lords Plaza, Ankleshwar

I am sharing few lines here about the convention , but you may get a lot from those who were there.
We had nearly 20 colleagues who had owned different responsibilities and gave their best to the convention.
They all have a job and a family also. And still they gave their best..
Up to midnight all were there  to support each other. This spirit of togetherness made everything possible.
With the help of these 20 we can easily conduct a convention of 2500 participants.
All the faculties reached before time.
Participants had accepted our request to come little early. Their support was total during the entire convention.
We had very good number of Non-HR leaders and CEOs as participants.
Convention started in time.
Hall at Hotel Lord's Plaza was full from the start - 250+ participants from the inauguration itself
Prominent faculties Prof. T V Rao, Shri Govindbhai Dholakia, Shri Ashok Ramchandran, MS. Sujata Deshmukh, Shri Dhananjay Singh - Director NHRD network,  Mr. Jagannath Oleti, Shri Himanshu Bhavsar ,Ms.  Darleen  Patrao,  Dr. Nirav Mandir enlightened everybody.
Prof TV Rao shared about - Who made difference and How to make difference. at all the levels. He had heart touching messages for all levels of people,He really spoke from the heart and shared his life's profound wisdom.All the participants were the beneficiaries of his kindness.
Shri Govindbhai Dholakia -GovindKaka was again at his best. His life's Learning and his fundamental belief touched everybody a lot.  People carried a lot from what he said.
Shri Ashok Ramchandran reached out to every one in his unique style full of warmth and energy. He spoke on how high potential leaders are spotted and developed..In his natural style he connected himself with all the participants.
Shri Himanshu Bhavsar shared that in what way engineering principles are applied to develop high performance culture at Aarti . With simplicity he shared about initiatives and achievements at Aarti.  His belief and clarity touched everybody. With total conviction he said - People are at the core .
Shri Jagannath Oleti Shared the Grand L&T story with ref. to high performance work culture. In his unique way he explained how People are at the core for all driving principles. He also shared how people development is a  matter of passion and how in a natural manner this has been helping the high performance work culture.
MsDalreenPatrao shared so many best practices on Employee Engagement. She provided breadth and depth both at the same time on this important subject.
 Dr Nirav Mandir shared on important global research on Employee Engagement and how the same can be used in India. He also touched upon the aspect of sustainability in  this area very well. He shared very good examples and few stories.
Ms Sujata Deshmukh our Convention Director was at her best all through the convention.She added value to all the sessions. Her sharing on Innovation had depth , clarity and direct applicability. More importantly she showed what kind of mind-set was required to develop the culture of innovation.
In the late night of 19th when our team was working she came and enthused every one who was there . In this one more way she exemplified the concept of ownership. .
Shri Dhananjay Singhji 's humility touched everybody. He interacted personally with all the volunteers and many participants. In his address he motivated all the participants to work upon something which they had got/ learned. He also encouraged all to learn from each other..
All termed this achievement of  75th Uninterrupted Monthly Meeting MOST UNIQUE.
Prof.TV Rao, DhananjaySinghji and Ashok Ramchandran said - this is not heard of anywhere else in  so many years in India.
In the evening all participants left after expressing their deep satisfaction about the convention.
Many even shared the resolutions they had made during the convention.
To all of us - including the above 20 , this was like a Mega Booster dose .
Now next target is 100th meeting.

Ahmedabad has decided to revive the chapter and North Gujarat and Kutchchh will be the new beginning..
It was a Memorable event and a heap of learning experiences for all.
God made all these possible. We were just His instrument ..

How can we ask for any more kindness than this from Him ?!!

Student participation in Solvay India Open House

Venue : Solvay Specialities India Pvt Ltd, Panoli Date     :     13 Dec 2017     As per the invitation from Solvay Specialities Pvt Ltd, 8 students and 2 faculties from Narmada college of Management participated in the “Open House” event organised by Solvay, on 13 th of December. Dr Chetna Makwana (associate professor) and Prof Rashmi Ghamawala (assistant professor) along with 8 students (from different specialisation) visited the company. The event started sharp at 10 am, where students and faculties of different colleges of Bharuch district were present, namely, SVMIT, KJ Polytechnic etc, along with the employees and staff of Solvay. All the participants were welcomed by Pratish Koparkar, who warmly welcome with his delightful words and starting off the briefing about various safety measures that need to be taken care of. INDUSTRIAL VISIT -2017 AT ADANI MUNDRA

ADANI INDUSTRIAL VISIT -2017 AT MUNDRA VENUE: Adani ltd. Mundra DATE:  9 FEBRUARY 2017 TO 11 FEBRUARY 2017 DAY 1 ON 9 FEBRUARY 2017 we have departure from Bharuch to Ahmedabhad  at Maninagar station and then bus was been arranged by adani..we reached at Adani guest house  “ Shanti Vihar” at 12.30 and then lunch was been provided. Then  we visited first adani port there we were guide how the port work  how the import export is been done. Then we visited to Adani wilmar ltd where they showed us process and packing of different oil product Then we visited adani temple & then we followed by dinner Then cultural event was held which was organized by NCM student  Day 2 We were gathered at 6.30am at common hall for yoga and laughing session Then we went to visit to Adani power ltd were they provided information how the power is been produced and a company visit was been given by them Then by around 1 pm we were departed from Shanti Vihar to
