Event: Celebration of kite festival with a social message
Venue: Narmada College of management


On 13th January we were celebrated kite festival with a social message .this celebration was
started at 11:00 am onwards in our college.priyanshi Chauhan and Hetal Patel were
organizers of this event.in this event first year and second year students took a part and
celebrated this kite festival in a very unique way. In this event participant can took any social
issues and draw a sketch in the MS WORD and took a print out of that sketch on A4 size
paper and that print should be stick on the kite. The subject of this event were as follows:

1. Beti bachao beti padhao
2. Swachh bharat abhiyan
3. Social awareness
4. Sketches

In this event student draw on different types of social issues like stop acid attack, save birds,
save earth, recycle etc., save girl child etc. Then all kites were hang different types of places
in the campus likewise on the trees, walls, main gate, in the canteen etc. then second year
student Jinal sheth gave a brief introduction about why we celebrate makarsankranti.then all
the students, faculty members, on-teaching staff, and director madam celebrate this kite
festival by giving a chiki to each other’s. Our director mam appreciate this event very
wholeheartedly .then all the faculty members saw the sketches of all the students and
appreciate their uniqueness. Whole event was completed at 1:45 pm onwards.

Students Participation in "All India Essay Writing Event 2016"

Our students Ms. Fatema Ibrahim Surti and Ms. Sashista A. Chauhan participated in  "All India Essay Writing Event 2016" organised by Shri Ram Chandra Mission, United Nation Information Center for India and Bhutan, and The Heartfulness Institute.

Student participation in Solvay India Open House

Venue : Solvay Specialities India Pvt Ltd, Panoli Date     :     13 Dec 2017     As per the invitation from Solvay Specialities Pvt Ltd, 8 students and 2 faculties from Narmada college of Management participated in the “Open House” event organised by Solvay, on 13 th of December. Dr Chetna Makwana (associate professor) and Prof Rashmi Ghamawala (assistant professor) along with 8 students (from different specialisation) visited the company. The event started sharp at 10 am, where students and faculties of different colleges of Bharuch district were present, namely, SVMIT, KJ Polytechnic etc, along with the employees and staff of Solvay. All the participants were welcomed by Pratish Koparkar, who warmly welcome with his delightful words and starting off the briefing about various safety measures that need to be taken care of.
