Students Participation: Skill Samwaad - a conclave on “Bridging the Skill Gap & Promoting Entrepreneurship

National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) organized Skill Samwaad a conclave on “Bridging the Skill Gap & Promoting Entrepreneurship” at Hotel Regenta, Bharuch. The guests of honour for the event were Shri Tushar Sumera, IAS (District collector, Bharuch, Gujarat) and Shri Ved Mani Tiwari, COO & Officiating CEO at National Skill Development Corporation.

15 students from Narmada College of Management participated in this conclave. The Event started with Shri Tushar Sumera sharing with the audiences his insights and observation about skilling in India, followed by Shri Vegh Mani Tiwari, CEO, NSDC. The second part of the event included a small presentation on what is NSDC, its contribution and achievement. After the presentation the panel discussion began. The panel consisted of Shri. Ashok Panjwani (Executive Director, UPL), Dr. Parag Sanghani (Vice Chancellor at P P Savani University), Shri. Arun Upadhyay (Pidilite industries), Shri G C Shah, Director, Vivekananda Gramin Tekniki Kendra – SEWA Rural, Shri Manish Mishra (NSDC), and a few others as well. It was moderated by Ms. Parul Mahajan, Head – Government Relations and Advocacy, NSDC.

Venue : Solvay Specialities India Pvt Ltd, Panoli Date     :     13 Dec 2017     As per the invitation from Solvay Specialities Pvt Ltd, 8 students and 2 faculties from Narmada college of Management participated in the “Open House” event organised by Solvay, on 13 th of December.
