Subject: National Day celebration of Kazakhstan at Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad

We started our journey for Ahmedabad around 7 o’clock in the morning from Bharuch. We were 13 students and the country assigned to our collage was Kazakhstan. We reached around 11.15 AM at GTU, Chandkheda. The programme was started with the national anthems.

We along with three other colleges present over there were addressed by the following dignitaries present on the dias and they were:

·        Mr. J.C. Lilami
·        Dr. Akshay Agarwal (Vice Chancellor, GTU)
·        Dr. Zen
·        Mr. K.M. Patel
·        Dr. Shivendra Gupta
·        MR. Manoj
·        Mr. Modi

The vote of thanks was given by Dr. Kaushal Bhatt and also member of CGBS who resolved our queries regarding GCSR. The program ended with the felicitation ceremony.
The following are the expenses incurred during travelling. We are attaching a copy of toll tickets which were paid by students. Total amount which were paid by the students is Rs. 425 /- which includes cost of Toll Tickets and driver’s lunch.

Students’ role at National Day Celebration:

After all the dignitaries’ speech, we were told to take the lunch which is organized by the GTU itself in the GTU campus only. As we completed our lunch we were gather in conference hall for the further discussion and query solution. The class was held by the Dr. Keyur Bhatt.

Along with other collage, our collage presented two presentations in front of the Dr. Keyur Bhatt. Among the two presentations, one is on STEEPLED analysis of overall Kazakhstan country and second was given by Sabiha & group which includes industry analysis which was assigned to them i.e Food Industry.

As the presentation gets completed, Dr. Keyur Bhatt gave us hints and sudden changes that we had to improve in different aspects of our presentation. Then the discussion round is started. In which all the students had asked their relative queries regarding GCSR. One common hint he gave us that we had to visit one company for the fifteen days which has potentials to work in Kazakhstan. And students have to give them a solid business plan which helps relative company to start business in Kazakhstan.

After this discussion, there was some cultural performance performed by the different collages’ students who are representing different countries. As the performance completed they distribute the participation certificates and Awards to the collage which were present over there. One thing that we missed mostly was the absence of Faculty on this very important day.
