Shri Bhavik Shah, founder of Swaminarayan Travels, shared his experiences of how from a small time worker in a company in Ankleshwar, he went on to start a business with his small savings and the money that he got when the company he was working for closed down.

Starting Swaminarayan Travels ten years with a small capital of Rs. 7 lakhs he now has a built a business of more than 600 vehicles.

Sharing with the students his insights about business, he asked them to have some hobby in life. This hobby should motivate you to reach great heights. He himself had a fascination for luxury cars. Today he drives an Audi.

He urged the students to keep working in life. Never think about your education and qualifications too much. They should not become a barrier in your life.

Keep good friends for life. It is your friends who can make you and destroy you. Having good friends will propel you achieve impossible things. 

Sharing his experiences was thoroughly enjoyed by the students.  He has diversified into a new business of building fish ponds which happened accidentally.

He invited the students to visit his office any time for any kind of help.

Our students Ms. Fatema Ibrahim Surti and Ms. Sashista A. Chauhan participated in  "All India Essay Writing Event 2016" organised by Shri Ram Chandra Mission, United Nation Information Center for India and Bhutan, and The Heartfulness Institute.

Student participation in Solvay India Open House

Venue : Solvay Specialities India Pvt Ltd, Panoli Date     :     13 Dec 2017     As per the invitation from Solvay Specialities Pvt Ltd, 8 students and 2 faculties from Narmada college of Management participated in the “Open House” event organised by Solvay, on 13 th of December. Dr Chetna Makwana (associate professor) and Prof Rashmi Ghamawala (assistant professor) along with 8 students (from different specialisation) visited the company. The event started sharp at 10 am, where students and faculties of different colleges of Bharuch district were present, namely, SVMIT, KJ Polytechnic etc, along with the employees and staff of Solvay. All the participants were welcomed by Pratish Koparkar, who warmly welcome with his delightful words and starting off the briefing about various safety measures that need to be taken care of. The main guests who were addressing the audience were Mukesh Malhotra, Amlanabha Das who was the HR head of Solvay India,
