MoU: NCM inks its fourth MoU with VGTK – SEWA Rural

 

On 22nd July, 2021 Narmada College of Management (NCM) and Narmada College of Science and Commerce (NCSC), Bharuch signed its fourth memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Vivekananda Gramin Tekniki Kendra (VGTK) a vocational training Centre at Society for Education welfare and Action (SEWA) – Rural, Jhagadia.

VGTK – SEWA Rural was established in the year 1987 to provide opportunities to the rural youth. It imparts technical competence as well as man making and character building to youngsters in rural areas who are trapped in a vicious cycle of poverty, ignorance and lack of opportunity.

The MoU was signed by NCM Director Dr. Trupti Almoula, Dr. B M Rawal, Principal NCSC, and Shri Girish Shah, Director VGTK – SEWA Rural. The objective of this MoU is to help NCM and NCSC students understand the working of an NGO and facilitate immersion programs. It also aims at encouraging participation from both the institutions for curricular, co curricular and extracurricular activities. The agreement has come into force immediately.
