POSTER MAKING COMPETITION FOR FIRST YEAR MBA STUDENTS – A DIVISION ORGANIZED BY JUNIOR CHAMBER INTERNATIONAL

 As part of its Memorandum of Understanding with Junior Chambers International, A poster making competition was held for the first-year students based on the theme: Extrapolating through “Out of the Box” Thinking.

 The students were divided in groups of three students and each group selected a number from 0 to 9 and using that number, they created a poster based on Management Concepts. The students actively participated in the competition and came out with brilliant ideas on the concept. The posters were evaluated by a team of faculty members, namely Prof. Iram Khan, Prof. Rakhi Thakkar and Dr. Subhash Yadav.

 The first position was between the groups of Shailesh Pandey, Kishan Yadav, Ashok Chaudhary and Ishika, Hitisha and Sayama. They had creatively used the number 3 to create a poster of a Management Concept. The second position was bagged by the group of Vaibhav, Shehzad and Arjun who used the number 2 and created a poster on the theme, Thought and Action.

 The third position was won by the group of Tejasvini, Prachi and Vrunda. They had created a poster based on the number 8 demonstrating Managerial skills. All the winners were given a certificate of appreciation along with a trophy for the first position. The judges of all the competitions were also recognized by JCI with a token of appreciation.

Students Participation in "All India Essay Writing Event 2016"

Our students Ms. Fatema Ibrahim Surti and Ms. Sashista A. Chauhan participated in  "All India Essay Writing Event 2016" organised by Shri Ram Chandra Mission, United Nation Information Center for India and Bhutan, and The Heartfulness Institute.

Student participation in Solvay India Open House

Venue : Solvay Specialities India Pvt Ltd, Panoli Date     :     13 Dec 2017     As per the invitation from Solvay Specialities Pvt Ltd, 8 students and 2 faculties from Narmada college of Management participated in the “Open House” event organised by Solvay, on 13 th of December. Dr Chetna Makwana (associate professor) and Prof Rashmi Ghamawala (assistant professor) along with 8 students (from different specialisation) visited the company. The event started sharp at 10 am, where students and faculties of different colleges of Bharuch district were present, namely, SVMIT, KJ Polytechnic etc, along with the employees and staff of Solvay. All the participants were welcomed by Pratish Koparkar, who warmly welcome with his delightful words and starting off the briefing about various safety measures that need to be taken care of.
