Elocution and Quiz competition “Flair 2019” at NCM

NCM has organized competition titled “Flair 2019” for the development of students of Third year of BBA, BCom, BSC, BCA and  MBA -SEM II & IV. Date of Competition 29th January,2019
Competitions held on 29th Jan 2019 under “Flair 2019” in celebration of 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhiji  (BAPU) are as under:
Name of Competition:  (i) Debate Competition
(ii) Elocution Competition

·         Elocution and Quiz competition:  Individual Competition
·         Debate Competition: Team of two person

Topics given for the Elocution Competitions were:
1.       “Basic Education Method is ultimate and invaluable contribution to society” as per BAPU (GandhiJi)  (Buniyadi Talim) .
2.       “Social  Reforms to create an ideal society” Gandhian Philosophy.
3.       “India of My Dream” BAPU’s Perspective.
4.       “Role of Social Leadership in Nation Building”
Topics assigned for the Debate Competitions were:
1.       Is the Basic Education Method is as BAPU (Gandhiji) envisage or not?
2.       “SWADESH”  is my Pride or Not?

Total Six students have participated in Elocution competition and 16 students comprising of 8 teams has participated in debate competition. Winners were awarded with certificate for competitions. In elocution competition, Monika Katara from MSc-II wins first position and Arshi Khan from MBA I held second position. In Debate competition team of Anjali Jain and Vaishavi Mehta secured first position and Arshi Khan and Heena Navya achieved second position. Students Coordinators of the programme are Divya , Maheshwari , Rayasha and Kevin.

Students Participation in "All India Essay Writing Event 2016"

Our students Ms. Fatema Ibrahim Surti and Ms. Sashista A. Chauhan participated in  "All India Essay Writing Event 2016" organised by Shri Ram Chandra Mission, United Nation Information Center for India and Bhutan, and The Heartfulness Institute.

Student participation in Solvay India Open House

Venue : Solvay Specialities India Pvt Ltd, Panoli Date     :     13 Dec 2017     As per the invitation from Solvay Specialities Pvt Ltd, 8 students and 2 faculties from Narmada college of Management participated in the “Open House” event organised by Solvay, on 13 th of December. Dr Chetna Makwana (associate professor) and Prof Rashmi Ghamawala (assistant professor) along with 8 students (from different specialisation) visited the company. The event started sharp at 10 am, where students and faculties of different colleges of Bharuch district were present, namely, SVMIT, KJ Polytechnic etc, along with the employees and staff of Solvay. All the participants were welcomed by Pratish Koparkar, who warmly welcome with his delightful words and starting off the briefing about various safety measures that need to be taken care of.
